3 Things to consider when you don't feel like showing up

Let’s be honest. There will be days you don’t feel motivated. Days when the couch feels better than the gym. Days when life feels heavy and showing up feels like too much.
If that’s you right now, this is your reminder: you’re not failing. You’re human.
We want to help you create a healthy and balanced lifestyle. So here are 3 simple things to consider when you don’t feel like showing up.
Meet yourself where you are
Instead of asking yourself to give 100%, ask yourself: “What’s the minimum I can do today?”
Maybe that looks like:
10 minutes of movement
Stretching instead of lifting
A walk instead of a workout
Showing up doesn’t always mean going hard. Consistency is built on the days you choose to do a little instead of nothing. And that is how discipline is built.
2. Show up without deciding how you’ll feel
A lot of times we don’t show up because we assume:
“It will be too hard”
“I’ll be tired”
“It won’t be worth it”
Try this instead:
Show up and don’t overthink it. The more you dwell in the thought “should I go?” the easier it becomes to be led by how you are feeling and not show up.
Tell yourself:
“I will feel better after I show up. I will feel proud of myself for getting it done.”
Most of the time, starting is the hardest part — not the workout itself.
3. Remember your ‘why’ (not the pressure)
You didn’t start this journey to punish your body. Maybe you started it to:
Feel stronger
Feel better mentally
Take care of yourself
On hard days, don’t think about results.
Think about who you’re becoming by not quitting on yourself. And showing up each day, making small changes.
This is a gently reminder
Failing is not when you struggle but rather when you quit the journey. Miss a week? That’s okay. Give yourself grace and show up better the following week. And remember, you are showing up for yourself.
